…Still a very hard question to answer.
Today I see myself as a product-minded software engineer. I am on my way to finding the perfect fit for my role (I’ll write a deep dive post about my career journey).
I like the process of building systems end-to-end and from zero to one. And I find huge satisfaction in working with increasing complexity, scaling problems, and product evolution. That’s exactly what I’ve had the chance to try and continue to do as a Backend Engineer at Intrepid Fox, where we are applying Gen AI to transform how compliance teams work in FinTech companies.
The second part of my professional activity happens in a totally different industry and role. As a Product Manager at Ailet, I lead the business stream where we build B2B SaaS for FMCG and Pharma Retailers. With our solution, they can benefit from digitized shelf data and tools for their employees to improve key shelf metrics.
I wear multiple hats in this role:
- Defining the product strategy
- Product building: bringing our software to life through constant iterations with clients and my dev team
- Customer success: as we grow this stream with our 2 key clients who help us shape the solution
- “Implementation hacker” - I code some scripts from time to time, which helps me deliver value to customers quickly and test product hypotheses.
Today I am excited to test if I can build a product all by myself and scale it to a $1M+ ARR service.
Apart from my professional life, I try to be a good father (another post about fatherhood is coming), rock climb, and roller skate on the streets of Madrid.
